My students are three year old inner city youth, who are entering their first year of Pre-K. They are curious, hands on and eager to learn. About 95% of our school population is low income and receive free breakfast and lunch through the school. We also have a high population of homeless students that receive social, emotional and family support. Because of the challenges that face our students we offer them the feeling of an intimate "family" based style of learning, making sure we keep a student to teacher ratio of 8:1.
