I am a new special education teacher in a 4th grade SDC class. My school is located outside of downtown Los Angeles. Student population consist of Latinos and Asians. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic background. They are mostly all English learners. My students have disabilities that range from specific learning disability to autism.
