Engaging students in the writing process can be arduous. I am creating a "wild about writing" classroom using animals that students love to learn about. A classroom rug depicting animals around the world would enhance a positive learning and comfortable environment. Many of my students come from poverty stricken homes. Providing an inviting "student interest owned" classroom can enable student curiosity and desire to learn!
