Kindergarten is the place where some of the youngest children learn to be students. I want to give them all some tools that they can take with them to help them later down the road when the learning gets tough. Every learner is so different. Offering a variety of strategies and tools creates a classroom where differences are celebrated and embraced. I know that not all classrooms will offer flexible seating options. The tools I have chosen will teach the students strategies that can also be used in regular seating environments. I have been using flexible seating for the last 3 years. This year, the needs of my students are a bit different. Because of these differences, I am changing out some of my old seating options that are over stimulating for a group of students who need more calm choices.

About my class
