My goal is to have students walk into a classroom that invites all learners to feel successful and comfortable. As we know, learning is not one-size-fits-all and neither is the way a classroom is arranged. Students need to have access to a variety of seating options in order to do their best thinking. Seating that is flexible and that can be easily moved around to different areas is essential for the environment.
Ultimately, I would like to provide students with an opportunity to choose seating that best fits their bodies and their minds. When seating is flexible, students are able to have collaboration with peers, explore topics, and create beyond the constraints of a desk.
