The art room at Hamilton is a beautiful space with large windows and an expansive closet just waiting to be filled with art-making materials. As the new art teacher at our school, I am looking to provide students with even more space to work, explore, experiment, and engage in learning about art and the world around them. With approximately 500 students, supplies for all age ranges are vital, and currently scarse; paints, brushes, pencils, papers, rulers, etc. I plan to rebuild this program from the bottom up, and will stop at nowhere to make this a safe and inviting room for students to feel they can take risks in self-expression and become even more amazing students than they already are!
