My students are performing "at risk." They require small group instruction so that they can receive almost individualized instruction at their performance level. Many of my students are on individualized educational plans. These plans are specific to each individual student. Their individual plans address the needs of each particular student. Some days these students come to school with individual burdens. A calming place to go to regroup would be wonderful for them. I would love to create a special place for them in my classroom.
