Our school is a Title I, minority-majority school that is located in south Oklahoma City. With seventh and eighth grades, our school serves a very diverse group of about 700 eager learners.
Hands-on, problem-solving activities like those in my STEM class, expose students to careers that students may have never considered. The skills learned through class activities will help students become employees in tomorrow’s workforce and citizens of the world.
The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum supplies contain the minimal, basic equipment necessary to present the lessons. With the addition of materials requested through grants like those found on Ðǿմ«Ã½, learning can extend beyond the classroom.
We need to make our projects extend learning past the minimal and into the possible.
