At the John J Doran School in Fall River, students from grades pre-k through 8 are learning how to become upstanding digital citizens. Our students have a clear understanding of the role technology plays in the world today and an interest in acquiring the skills necessary to become literate in the subject. In our technology lab we have 30 HP all-in-one desktop computers. At times, I have as many as 45 students in my classroom. I would like to add chromebooks to our classroom to accommodate for the larger sized classes and provide flexible seating options. More than 75% of our students are coming from low income households and have little access to state of the art technology at home.
