My students are amazing and curious children who love learning about the world around them! Some of the best compliments come from students letting me know that they don't want to go home at the end of day, and would rather stay in my classroom to learn. Making learning fun, and giving students a variety of materials to learn with and explore the world around them is my goal. The early years are the most critical as people build their foundation for the rest of their life, and I take my job to heart in making the most of my students' learning in a safe environment. I have students that speak multiple languages and I believe in using hands-on materials to not only teach, but to help them fully understand. The majority of my preschoolers come from low-income households, and from mostly Latinx backgrounds, although there are also students from Chinese, Filipino, Polish, Irish, African, and Middle-Eastern backgrounds.
