These leveled reader print books will help enhance the rich learning environment I'm creating in the classroom. My 3rd-grade students are exploring and engaging in developing their understanding of our world, and in developing new ideas. Every student needs access to books at their own level of reading with the opportunity to share with others at their level and those at other levels. These books have been chosen with all of my students in mind, to accommodate readers at all levels of proficiency. Students will be able to choose books that will help them continue to develop as readers during our intervention reading time and enjoy during their own independent reading time. With these new books, I will be able to accommodate all students, allowing them to choose books that they can read at their own grade level of proficiency, reading in a group or independently. These new books will give the students an opportunity to choose books that interest them, and to explore new subjects. My students are showing the interest, focus, and tenacity of absorbing more about our world through our curriculum and electronic resources. This project will help them expand those skills, helping to enrich their reading skills, knowledge about our world, and share their new knowledge with others through printed works.
