As we move into the second semester, my geometry students will begin studying right triangles and trigonometry. These materials will be used to allow students to organize their notes and ideas into project books. There are a number of great ways students can apply trigonometry to real-life. Creating a book to organize these thoughts and ideas will be another tool that can help my students retain knowledge.
When a student creates a resource, they build long-term understanding. This project will allow students to expand on their knowledge through creative means and have a keep-sake to reference in the future.
