I imagine my classroom being a space were students acquire knowledge from each other through the use of interactive activities involving hands on learning experiences.
I have the honor to work with students diagnosed with a disability and nearly 100% of my students reside in low-income households. I love to make learning fun and interactive! All of my students have phonics needs and the magnetic letters and listening center will be used in activities to support phonics instruction.
I desire for learners in my classroom who need sensory breaks to have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities that will meet their needs. The math manipulatives are needed to give my students the opportunity for interactive learning that will help build math fluency.
I am grateful for the opportunity to teach students in grades K-3 (dream job)!
