Have you ever stood in front of a class and had to give an oral report? Well my class has a new way of reporting what they have learned by using iPads. We can make movies, make our art work come to life, and record ourselves reading books. My students live in a rural part of South Carolina and they are taught to make the most of their education. This grant will provide my class with headphone so they can listen to books online and can record themselves reporting on information they have learned.
I teach 20 first grade students in a rural school. I want the students to think outside the norm and to look for new ways to express themselves. We are planning on using lots of programs to share our learning with our friends and families.
