There is a large range of abilities in my classroom. I have several students who are on IEP's and several others who are in advanced classes. I also have the ELL students for the grade level. Having Chromebooks in my classroom would assist me in meeting the needs of my students, both above-level and below-level. Students work in a variety of cooperative groups. Some examples are: math partners, reading groups, and table groups. My students desire to learn about the world around them. Our classroom environment is positive and my desire is for students to encourage each other and learn from each other. In my class, students want to learn and want to use what they know. Having technology in their hands-on a regular basis would allow them the opportunity to do that. In my class, I try to maximize any amount of time we have for an educational purpose. Having classroom technology would give students another tool to explore the depth of our curriculum.
