My students will be attending a College Preparatory Elementary school this fall, as we believe that the path to college starts in Kindergarten. I teach in an urban area, with a student population that is historically underserved. I chose this position because I truly believe in the need to close the achievement gap, and ensure that ALL students are learning to their fullest potential. You can assist me in achieving this goal, by helping me set up a classroom that is safe, comfortable, and motivates students to learn.
