Our school is situated in one of the poorest area codes in Chicago. These instruments will give our scholars an opportunity they have never had.....PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT! We talk about them and we have a few that have been donated for them to look at and touch, but not play. These amazing scholars will get to actually play these recorders and keep them for the rest of the school year. Recorders are an amazing way to introduce children to their 1st musical instrument. Our scholars will be so grateful for this experience to see, touch, play and keep these instruments.

About my class
