New Springs is a school serving students in grades k-8, with a population of around 450 students. Our school is a Title 1 public Math and Science oriented elementary and middle school in an under-served community in Tampa, FL.
Our school consists mostly of African-American, Hispanic, and low socioeconomic background students who receive free/reduced-price lunch. In spite of their socioeconomic conditions the students are performing better and surpassing those in many traditional public schools. We have pledged to deliver programs to increase the critical success of our children. Our mission is to provide educational programs and services that foster improved academic success and wellness.
