Children and technology go together like peanut butter and jelly. It is amazing how fast they learn new things and skills using technology. I am excited to use the Osmo system and activities in my classroom. I love how interactive they are and can be used in such a variety of ways. The letter tile activity will be used for word work in reading and phonics as well as spelling practice. I love using tangrams in math. Students can be creative and learn to follow directions and patterns with the tangrams. iPads can be used in so many ways in the classroom. I would definitely add more augmented reality activities if we had iPads to use. Another thing I would like to use iPads for is the app Seesaw. Students and parents can be connected and students can show off their work digitally to their parents.
