I teach art-on-a-cart to grades tk-3 at a Title 1, academically high-achieving elementary school that supports project-based learning, mindfulness, and the arts. As a roving teacher, I fill a cart with lesson-compatible materials and supplies that I bring to each class - thus the term, "art-on-a-cart." This will be my 7th year teaching art. I love teaching art because in this position I have the unique opportunity to guide students in developing their imagination and their creativity, along with the artistic techniques necessary to help them make their ideas visible.
