The science department in my school has all been networked to one printer in our science lab for many years. That are eight teachers all relying on one printer for all our printing needs. That includes printing out worksheets for our students, readings/articles, student work to display and much more. Our printer has broken down and we have tried every outlet to get money for a new one. Our school does not have the budget to replace it for us and our PTA has not been able to provide funds. We are at the point that if we don’t already have a copy of a worksheet saved from a previous year, we will not be able to use it! Many of us have new lessons and new articles we want to use with our students but don’t have a way to print them! This printer will also be able to directly benefit science students, especially when it comes to their science fair projects! These projects require boards to be made with lots of typed work to be placed on them along with a typed report. Most of our students don’t have access to a printer at home and rely on the printer that has broken down in our science lab. Please help our entire department so that we can do our best for our students!
