I would for my students to have informational text at their fingertips. This collection of books align with 4th grade Science Standards and will support classroom learning. I am moving to a new grade level in a new school and my classroom library is nonexistent. I would like to stock my book shelves with applicable text to engage my students. I feel this collection of books will do just that. Students are always eager to have self selected reading time, having a variety of books available is important to keep them interested. Classroom read aloud are also a crucial part of development, having those resources at hand in convenient for my planning.
