Imagine being transported back to the 1800's when time was simpler. Children used chalkboards, planted gardens, made their own toys, and sewed their own clothes.
With this project my students will get to experience a taste of what life was like for children in the 1800's. They are very use to their lives being driven by modern technology and I want them to see how children lived hundreds of years ago.
They will use chalk boards and chalk to do their lessons. They will plant a garden and harvest it. Students will create their own toys and learn to play games pioneer children would have played.
Students will get to experience a simpler time, but often harder, and will gain a stronger appreciation for how lucky they are to live in the modern era.
