My name is Erin Villegas (students usually call me "Mrs. V") and I teach in North Long Beach, CA. Our classroom is a colorful collection of student created work, where diversity is celebrated daily! We work together every day to create a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment for all. On any day, you will step into our classroom (we call it our "Home") to find creativity stirring, minds thinking critically, students and teacher engaging in meaningful relationships with each other and with ourselves. Through integrating art education into our curriculum, my students are able to express themselves in a variety of outlets, using many different mediums. As an Educator, I am a firm believer in the power of teamwork. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with you as a team to ensure that the children of North Long Beach have an exciting, creative, productive, and meaningful 6th grade year!
