In this technological age, having access to electronics throughout the school day will be a commodity that not only will help enrich the student's education, but also assist them in becoming more independent and confident 21st century learners. At our school we have a set number of chromebooks that are divided among grade levels. This means that there are certain parts of the day that the students are missing out on tech time; when they could be engaging in the many learning programs offered at our school; as well as free online curriculum guided games/resources during center times. Since my students need extra time and guided practice, these resources would be perfect to help them further develop their reading and mathematical skills. The three ASUS Chromebooks would bridge the time gap when we have no laptops and help them have continuous access on these educational programs that help enhance their literacy/math skills. When SBAC and any type of testing comes our way and we need to share the school's laptops and go through a certain time period without electronics, these will always remain with us so that their learning schedule is consistent.
