With these requested resources, my students will have the opportunity to utilize manipulatives to enhance learning and promote engagement within educational activities. Hands-on materials will be utilized by students to create playdough projects while actively engaging in learning. Countless skills such as; following directions, prepositions, concepts, attributes, and imitating will be addressed. All learning styles will be incorporated into these projects including kinesthetic, auditory, and visual. For example, students will be given a playdough mat of an ornament and then asked to decorate it. They will describe colors, shapes, location of decorations, size, quantities, etc. of items they decide to place on their ornament. Once the project is completed a picture can be taken of it to post and share with classmates. The manipulatives will be taken off the project and craft supplies will be utilized repeatedly as this project allows for continuous learning.
