My school is a place of learning busting at the seams with almost 1,000 students coming from a variety of socioeconomic levels. My students are grades 3-5 in the gifted and talented program. They are in a pull-out program where they come to my classroom once a week to work on collaborative projects, real-life problem solving, and place an emphasis on acceleration and enrichment of their general ed classroom lessons. Class size varies but each and every student comes to class eager to learn and grateful to be given an opportunity to do hands-on learning.
