Our classroom has implemented flexible seating! Research shows that students are able to focus and do their best work when they are comfortable. This means that when students are working they will have the freedom to find comfortable spaces around the room to work. Flexible seating creates a student centered environment.
Classrooms across the nation are changing the way student workspaces look, for the better! Flexible seating allows children to move around the classroom and offers autonomy to the child providing the best possible learning atmosphere. Flexible seating has shown to improve both the physical and mental health and well being in children.
