Bridging the gap! All teachers strive to bridge the educational gap for students in poverty. With the addition of iPads to our classroom, students will have access to more resources. The initial plan for the iPads is to aid in research for writing. Fourth grade is an important year for students as they are required to complete the FCAT writes assessment. As we prepare for this assessment, it will benefit students to have multiple resources to conduct research for their writing. There are also many other uses for the invaluable devices. STEM projects, science apps, access to books, math practice, math centers, reading apps... and so many more.
