The majority of my students are language learners who learn best through videos and pictures. Many do not get the opportunity to build world knowledge through outside experiences like museums and trips. Yet, they are all thirsty for knowledge and excited to see and experience new adventures.
Our school is a low income, Title I school. The parents are willing and wanting to help in any way possible and volunteer in many ways to help their children succeed in school. Unfortunately technology is not something that many of the parents are able to obtain. I also do not have the technology in my classroom. Because of these two factors the students do not have much access or experience with technology.
