The tools will enhance the excitement for creativity in the classroom and after school program. Microbits are chosen as individual devises due to the fact that they are more affordable. The Makey Makeys which are a bit more expensive will be used in a small group atmosphere to build cooperation and team work, which is the way the workforce in technology operates.
The micro: bit and Makey Makey have many lessons to engage students. They were designed to encourage children to learn to control computers rather than just use them. They can join in creating software and making devices that are usable. These skills will tie directly into students futures, and open their eyes to unlimited possibilities in the future workforce they will be joining.
