My students all have some degree of hearing loss. I have students who are completely deaf and use sign language and some that wear cochlear implants or hearing aids. These kids are special to me because they are facing adversity everyday. I travel between 7 schools in a low income community. I enjoy the teachers I work with and they are always willing to help and accommodate my students. These students face challenges everyday because of their hearing loss and their learning difficulties as well. These children are awesome and make my job easy!
