My students are coming from at risk neighborhoods to a safe haven school that does its best to encourage learning despite the struggles faced at home. Like many school districts, we are receiving many budget cuts. Many of the financial burdens are then left on the teachers. Teaching kindergarten, my children still have a passion for school and learning. They love to watch educational videos, listen to songs, dance around, and be kids.
