By donating to this project my students will have the ability to use the iPads doing our Daily 5 schedule for language arts. Currently we only have one iPad in the classroom. Having two more would allow me to make a reading center that is more engaging. The children always enjoy using technology for reading and it keeps them engaged in learning! I love the iPads because they are reliable and can be used by all of the students. Many of the reading apps can be programmed with books or concepts based on each child’s reading level. If we had access to iPads more children could be reading independently. The iPads will allow the children to listen to stories of various genres, to practice phonics, and to practice reading.
