I chose to use Boogie Board writers because the few I have in my classroom are constantly in high demand. The students are able to use them in small groups to stretch out their words, draw pictures and practice with forming letters and numbers.
The colorful boogie boards are exciting for my kindergarten students who struggle with fine motor skills. They will be able to soon write stories and also practice skills such as writing sight words, and practicing modeling their math thinking.
Through the use of boogie boards in my classroom, students with all abilities can express their thinking in all academic areas.
