My students are struggling readers. They have trouble meeting grade level in reading. Many of them come from homes where they don't have access to books at home, let alone a quiet place to sit and read. Reading here at school is one of the only opportunities they have to feel successful! Our school builds that sense of success by meeting them at the level they are reading to build their confidence and reading ability.
