The headphones will be assigned each year to a new set of ears. Quality headphones will benefit my students for many years to come. With a class set of headphones, we could use them for our language arts rotations where they use story making sites, spelling practice applications, and listening centers. We could also use them for our math block when we practice our number sense fluency. Having a set of headphones rather than ear buds will allow the kids to use them as a "noise canceling" tool in order to stay focused while working. Headphones will give my students a huge advantage! They will also block out background noise around them. They will feel comfortable, engaged and ready to do their best. It would make a huge difference!
