My first graders are very busy. Giving my students a variety of seating options will help them be able to be attentive and learn while being able to wiggle and move when necessary.
Children need to be able to get their wiggles out!
Having wobble chairs, bean bag chairs, balance balls, wobble cushions, and clip boards will help them be able to move while they are working independently and in groups.
Students will be able to sit on the floor with their wobble cushions and in the bean bag chairs with their clipboards to complete their learning. Students will also be able to use the wobble stools, balance balls, and wobble cushions while they are sitting at their tables. Students will be able to choose what seating style works best for their learning.
