My students are mainly English language learners, and many are from low income families. Many of my students do not have computers at home and thus lag behind their peers in this area. They always strive to do their best and love coming to school. The school district is the second largest in Illinois and has definitely been struggling due to all the recent cutbacks. Class sizes have grown and extra money for supplies has shrunk. Purchasing a 3D printer would definitely be something I would have to do myself. It is a little too costly, yet it would be so beneficial to my students.
