My students are a group of hard-working scholars who have all the spirit and potential of their more fortunate peers, but none of the resources. Our school is under new management as of this year, but was selected as a turn around school because it was consistently in the bottom 5% of schools in the state. My students come to school every day full of energy and ready to learn even though most of them have to deal with life circumstances that 5-year-old children should never have to deal with.
