As of right now, I am only given one novel per unit or four novels a year for my curriculum. I would like to give my students the opportunity for a wider variety.
I want to encourage all my students to find books they love! Some students would like the challenge of reading a more difficult text. Some students are fast readers and would like to know there is something else waiting for them when they finish early. Other students struggle with the novel provided by the district and need something more at their reading level. If the novel that I've been given is not challenging enough or too challenging, it turns off potential readers.
Please help me fill my shelves with awesome books for everyone!
