Our school and my our math/choir classroom is in need of replacing items we lost in Hurricane Harvey. About half our students are in the process of rebuilding their homes from this devastation. We are just wanting some bit of normalcy for the students.
We were so excited to offer choir as an elective this year. We have not had a choir program for about 5 years because of a shortage of staff. We are in need of furniture and music to replace the items we lost. We would also like to update our music library.
I teach math in my classroom too. I work with the students that need a little extra help understanding math concepts on their grade level. I do this by helping them with their homework and pulling resources to get them back on track with understanding difficult concepts. We work in small groups to accomplish these tasks. We lost many of our resources and would love to be able to replace them through Donors Choose.
