I teach Reading using a Reader's Workshop model. Reader's Workshop is about student choice. I am able to teach comprehension and content literacy through Reader's Workshop all while allowing the student to be in charge of their learning. Students select their own reading materials and apply skills taught in class. My students need more books to choose from. I teach 60 students and my school has not purchased new books in quite some time. Please help me encourage and foster a love for reading! I have a small classroom library, but I would love to be able to provided a large selection of books for my 60 students.
