Flexible seating has been proven to help students focus in the classroom. Students report a higher interest in the content and in school when they are able to choose their seats. Having the flexibility to move around the classroom is beneficial to students and teachers when it is in a controlled environment. It makes learning fun!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students appreciate comfort when they are working (we all do!). Having these flexible seating choices, will give my students a sense of comfort in a class where they are continuing to learn the language. In addition, I still have assigned "seats" but students are give the option of sitting in a chair, exercise ball, bucket seat, standing, on a stool or they can add a wobble ball to any of these choices as long as it doesn't cause an issue.
Some students still like to sit at the traditional chair/table arrangements. That is fine also, it is all about the ability to make a comfortable spot for students to learn.
