The IRespond system would provide student accountability, engagement and put data in its place seamlessly. Our classes have up to 10 students and disruptions, and off task behaviors are a core problem. A system like IRespond would increase participation and enthusiasm. I envision kids creating projects that incorporate the IRespond system and allow them to lead their own learning journey. As a special education teacher at the Endeavor program, I can efficiently differentiate instruction and provide special needs to students with more opportunities to shine. This system would be an enormous asset for our kids as a tool that is unique and at the cutting edge of student learning.
The nature of the IRespond system is far too flexible and dynamic to pin it down to one project, but its applications are endless and would benefit my students beyond any tool our program has ever known.
