I teach a group of forty bright and eager-to-learn second grade students who come from many different backgrounds. My students face many challenges because of their limited knowledge of the English language.
Over 90% of the students at my school receive free and reduced price lunch, which makes our school a Title I school. These children have little access, if none, to technology at home.
My students are a wonderful and sweet bunch. They are grateful for the opportunities they have to learn, and I enjoy sharing my passion of teaching reading and writing with my eager learners.
