I currently have the privilege of teaching in California. Our classroom is filled with 29 bright students. We rotate to learn, so I serve 32 strategic learners for ELA. As per California Common Core, I spend a power half hour teaching English Language Development to 30 awesome learners. We have several children with learning disabilities, tumultuous home lives, high poverty, and ADHD. These materials will benefit all pupils with hands on and auditory materials.
