The students that I teach live in the poorest neighborhoods.. They lack support at home and school is the only constant in their lives. They also lack technology in their homes. Our school is one of the toughest in our district. This is my 12th year at my school. Their language abilities range from English "proficient' to "learning" Our school does not have a computer lab so access to technology is very difficult.
