I teach a Special Day class in the Jr. High setting. My students suffer from a long list of disabilities which include Autism, Emotional Disturbance, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, OHI, and many others. I have several students who are also English Language Learners. The class on average is 16 students to one instructor and one aide. It is an academic centered curriculum functioning at around the 3rd to 4th grade level. The students are AWESOME and just need extra time and a slower pace to reach there full potential. I am truly blessed to be there teacher. They make me a better person each day and I would love to give them the academic experience that they deserve.
