I work in a public preschool, that consists of 20 classrooms. Every student in the school was born in 2011. It is a preschool wonderland, filled with children from many different backgrounds and needs. I have a wonderful class, that absolutely loves attending school. They enter the class every day, eager to work, learn and play. They love reading stories and talking about them. I use many books to help facilitate topics of study and art projects. Laying down for rest time, can be a little challenging this time of year, the class is getting older, therefor the need to sleep, midday, is less necessary. During rest time, the children have been asking to listen to Audio books. They love them, and it helps with the transition from an noisy lunch activity, to a quite, rest activity. Unfortunately, We are a new school and do not have many Audio books yet. We are hoping to have many more books to listen to after this is done, so the class does not have to always listen to the same books.
